Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) worker

A Bell Block employer is looking for an Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) Worker. This position involves supervising and engaging with children aged 5-13 in a safe and supportive environment. You will need to be reliable, punctual, and confident working with children.
Requirements: • Ability to pass Police Vetting • Full Class 1 licence and reliable transport • A First Aid Certificate would be an advantage • Well presented and understands dress standards for working in an active environment with children
Responsibilities will include: • Assisting with homework • Organising recreational activities • Effective communication with parents and caregivers • Ensuring a positive atmosphere • Maintaining a secure and clean space • Adhering to relevant policies and procedures • Activity planning • Basic admin tasks
1x full time OSCAR worker role (approx 30 hours or just under) requires a full license 1x part time position in the playgroup (for younger children)

- Rostered between Mon – Fri 7 – 9am, 2:30 – 6pm / School holidays between 7am – 6pm (30 hours per week)
