The Role: We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Sandblaster/Industrial Painter to join the team. This role suits someone experienced, or someone semi-skilled who’s serious about learning the trade properly. It’s physical, repetitive at times, and requires consistency - not just when someone’s watching.
What You’ll Be Doing: • Abrasive blasting of various types steel components • Surface preparation (masking, cleaning, profiling) • Applying industrial coatings (wet spray experience a great bonus) • Handling and moving heavy parts safely • Checking your own work for quality • General workshop duties
What We’re Looking For: • Experience in sandblasting or industrial painting (preferred) • Reliability is non-negotiable – turning up every day, on time, ready to work • Strong work ethic - no standing around waiting to be told what to do • Physically fit and comfortable in a workshop environment and confined spaces • Attention to detail and pride in your finished work • Ability to take instruction and work as part of a team • Forklift licence is a bonus
This Role Is NOT For You If: • You struggle with early starts or regular attendance • You need constant supervision to stay productive • You’re not comfortable with physical, hands-on work and mucking in • You cut corners or don’t take pride in your work • You’re not comfortable with confined spaces
What You’ll Get: • $26–$29 per hour starting rate, reviewable after 30-day trial period (based on experience) • Ongoing, stable work with Winter being our busy season • Trained in abrasive blasting using all media • Training in specialised coatings systems • PPE gear, Fork Hoist, First Aid, Mask Fitting, Dangerous Goods Certification all provided • Straight-up, no-nonsense team environment

Job Requirements
- Experience in Sandblasting/Industrial Painting - Reliable transport to get to work as early as 6am every day - Pass pre employment drug test - Physically fit with the ability to work long hours doing physical work - Flexible to do overtime when needed - Proactive attitude with a strong ability to work independently - High health & safety awareness - Punctual, responsive and communicative
