Full time, permanent positions are available at a busy meat processing plant located at Morton Mains.
Work is Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week. Day shift: 5:45am - 3:30pm Night shift: 4:45pm - 2:30am Industry -leading hourly rates: $28 - $35 per hour (based on skills and experience)
About the Role: • To support the slaughter board in the processing of the carcass for further processing in the boning room. • Perform hygienic removal of kidneys, pluck (heart, lungs, and liver), skirt, runners, pelvic and precrural fat during carcass processing. • Systematically trim minor defects, veins, and visible contamination to ensure product quality and compliance. • Perform trimming and preparing / packing products for dispatch.
What We are Looking For: • Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations—including PPE use. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the industry. • Strong communication skills. • High standard of health and safety practices. • Ability to work under pressure and maintain performance. • Understands the importance of hygiene and quality control. • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. • Ability to work cohesively within a production line to meet daily targets.

Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years experience in meat processing • You will need to be physically fit, reliable, and have a strong work ethic • Pre employment medical and urine drug screening will be required • Applicants must have suitable transport to get to and from the site • Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand
