Field Team Member

If you have experience in the agricultural or horticultural industries, enjoy hands-on outdoor physical work in all weather conditions, are a team player and available for an immediate start, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! A turf farm located just outside Palmerston North, is currently looking for a dedicated individual to fill their full time position. The role involves a variety of tasks, including turf harvesting, mowing, irrigation, machinery operation, and general farm duties.

Ideal applicant will have: -A strong work ethic and be prepared to turn up every day ready to go -Be physically fit and in good health -Enjoys physical work and being outdoors every day -Able to communicate well and follow instructions -Have a proactive attitude and pay attention to detail -A current Full Driver licence -Ready to do a pre-employment drug test if needed -Able to undertake heavy lifting. -Experience in farming, horticulture, turf industry or operating tractors/machinery -Mechanical aptitude is a plus -Convictions considered on a case by case basis. For the right person, there is potential to step into a Team Leader role.
