Pastry Cooks Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pastry Cook’s Assistant to join our team in Grey Lynn. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment and is passionate about food preparation and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation of food and bakery items in accordance with company procedures. - Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and helping customers with product selection. - Handle customer transactions and operate the POS system when required. - Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and service areas. - Ensure proper storage of food items and assist with monitoring stock levels. - Support daily kitchen and bakery operations, particularly during busy periods. - Clean work areas, utensils, and equipment, including end-of-shift cleaning tasks. - Follow all workplace health, safety, and food safety regulations.
