A Manukau-based bed and mattress employer is looking for a skilled upholsterer to join their team.
As a upholsterer for this family-owned business, you will be: - Installing and repair furniture springs, padding, linings and framework. - Accurately measuring and cutting materials and fabric. - Working closely with the carpentry team to meet daily production targets in a fast paced environment. - Maintaining accuracy, consistency, and quality across all units
If you are an experienced upholsterer or a carpenter/cabinet maker with upholstery experience, this may be the role for you!
Job Requirements
- At least 6 months of upholstery experience - The ability to read measurements - Confident using power tools and workshop machinery - A reliable, detail focused, and safety conscious personality - Experience in furniture manufacturing is a bonus - Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check and pre-employment drug test
- Days of work
- Monday to Friday, between 8am and 7pm. Additional hours may be available. (30 hours per week)

- $24 per hour. May be negotiable depending on experience
