Wool Handler and Wool Presser

One of local shearing companies is looking for a reliable Wool handler and Wool Presser. The Wool handler role is picking up fleece immediately after the shearer removes the fleece the wool handler takes this to the sorting table, removing stained wool from the fleeces, sweeping floor where the shearers work. Assist with penning up the sheep into pens ready for the shearer. This role requires Wool Presser works at speed so physical fitness is important. As a wool presser you will be operating a press machines using hydraulic or manual wool presses to compress wool into solid standard sized bales, weighing and branding with the farm brand and bale number, maintain accurate documentation fastening and sewing the finished wool bales. Physical Fitness is important , you will be working as part of a small team reliability is a must! Pick up location to be discussed travel times and pick up vary depending on location of work.

You must be very reliable as Wool Handler and Wool Presser requires a good level of fitness.
