An engineering services company based in Onehunga is looking for a reliable Workshop Labourer to join our structural steel fabrication team. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the steel industry and wanting to grow into a Fabricator/Welder.
A Metal Process Labourer plays a key support role in a metal fabrication or engineering workshop. You will assist in the day-to-day running of the workshop, supporting fabricators and welders while learning valuable skills in structural steel.
Key duties :
Assisting with fabrication and welding tasks by holding, positioning, and prepping materials Grinding, cutting, and preparing steel for fabrication Moving and handling materials around the workshop safely Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace Following health and safety procedures at all times Learning fabrication and welding processes to build skills for career progression

Candidates must :
Apply with most up to date CV Must holds Full, clean NZ drivers license Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice check and drug test Basic understanding of hand tools Physically fit and capable of manual work Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow Willingness to take initiative and follow instructions given
