Fabricator/Welder

A well-established engineering company based in Onehunga is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabrication Welder to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this hands-on role, you will be involved in the fabrication and welding of structural steel for a variety of projects. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with project specifications and safety requirements.

Candidates must :

Appy with most updated CV outlining relevant experience. Have a clean Full NZ driver license Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice check and drug test Must have Metal Work Skills, Knowledge of hand tool operations Min 1 year experience needed in similar role Must have completed NZ Welding School or Welding Tickets, Pre trade Be able to read and interpret shop drawings competently and accurately Be able to install fabricated steel from shop drawings Have great people skills both with team-mates and clients Reliability and punctuality are key – be on time and have great attendance Be honest and trustworthy Be fit and healthy Be able to work unsupervised with great attention to detail Be proactive and use initiative
