An employer is seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join their team This role is suited to someone who is observant, responsible, and confident in maintaining a safe and secure environment. Key responsibilities : • Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to maintain security and deter unauthorised activity • Monitor and control access to sites, including authorising entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vehicles • Identify, assess, and respond to suspicious behaviour or security incidents • Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unlawful activity • Secure doors, windows, gates, and access points during and after operational hours • Monitor CCTV systems and investigate any irregular or suspicious activity • Respond to alarms and incidents in line with site and company procedures • Assist staff, visitors, or members of the public when required Applicants must provide an updated CV (the Te Heke Mai.co.nz CV Builder format is acceptable)
Job Requirements
Clean full NZ drivers licence Able to pass drug test /MOJ Current COA Reliable and able to work independently
