Traffic Control

An employer with a depot in Takanini is seeking experienced Traffic Control staff to join their team. While the depot is in Takanini, work will be across various sites throughout Auckland, with staff reporting directly to the work locations.

• Set up, adjust, and remove traffic control devices, signage, and barriers at work sites • Direct and manage traffic flow to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists • Monitor and enforce compliance with traffic management plans and site safety procedures • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members regarding traffic situations • Report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment around roadworks or construction sites • Follow all relevant workplace health and safety regulations

Own reliable transport with NZ Full Drivers Licence Able to pass drug & alcohol testing / MOJ check / Solid work experience that can be supported by good references. Any related industry tickets required. Relevant skills and experience as Traffic Controller. - Physically capable and fit to undertake what’s required in this role. - Safety awareness – understanding regulations and safety protocols, adhering to H&S - TC/ TTM certifications -Team work & Team player: - Teachability and willingness to learn. -Able to provide evidence of skills and experience

Depot is located in Takanini. Work is all over Auckland depending on where the work sites are.
