Commercial Cleaner

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our team in the Northwest region. This position suits someone who is physically fit, safety conscious, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high quality cleaning services.

Key Duties - Vacuuming carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture - Cleaning, dusting, and polishing furniture, fixtures, fittings, and surfaces - Removing rubbish and recyclable materials; emptying bins, trays, and containers - Stripping wax from floors and performing re waxing, buffing, and polishing - Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, laundry areas, and plumbing fixtures - Replenishing bathroom and hygiene supplies and reporting damaged or defective fixtures - Operating commercial and industrial vacuum cleaners and floor cleaning machines - Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes, and high or hard to reach surfaces - Cleaning stairwells, lifts, and common areas - Washing, wiping, and disinfecting work areas and high touch surfaces - Using approved cleaning chemicals, including acids and solvents where required, to remove stains and grime - Maintaining, cleaning, and organising all cleaning equipment and supplies - Correct use of colour coding systems to prevent cross contamination - Strictly following all health, safety, and hygiene procedures - Supporting additional deep cleaning tasks when required

- At least 6 months of commercial cleaning experience preferred - Class 1 NZ driver licence, overseas equivalent, or ability to obtain one - Own transport - Friendly, positive, and customer focused attitude - Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive and manual tasks - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team - Flexible availability to work: Weekends, Late evenings and night shifts, Early mornings, and Public holidays
