Class 5 Truck Driver: Container Transport Location: Papatoetoe

A small logistics company is seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join their team, specialising in container transport. This is a full-time role offering day shifts, typically from 6:00am to 6:00pm, with flexibility required to start earlier or finish later (with prior notice).

Key Responsibilities: - Deliver goods to various locations in line with scheduled routes and timelines. - Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while complying with road transport regulations. - Operate trucks safely while representing the company in a professional manner. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues. - Load and unload goods securely to prevent damage during transit. - Assist with positioning vehicles for safe loading and unloading. - Accurately complete all delivery documentation (dockets, manifests, logbooks). - Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or updates. - Obtain proof of delivery and ensure positive customer interactions. - Handle customer queries professionally and relay feedback when required. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it remains in good working condition.
