Are you passionate about empowering young people and bringing great ideas to life? Join our team as a Programme Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of business across Hawke’s Bay.
In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you’ll lead the Young Enterprise Scheme—a national programme that supports secondary school students to create and run their own businesses while completing their studies. You’ll also contribute to programmes and events that support young professionals and emerging entrepreneurs across the region.
A typical day might see you connecting with students and teachers, meeting with sponsors, visiting schools to promote the programme, delivering business education sessions, or organising school visits to local businesses.
The role involves regular travel across Hawke’s Bay, including Napier, Central Hawke’s Bay, and Wairoa.

Job Requirements
• Ideally a Degree in Business or Marketing, with at least 1 year’s experience in programme or event management (other relevant experience will also be considered) • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, as you will be responsible for tracking your own expenses and reporting • Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across the region • Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check • Updated CV required, clearly highlighting relevant experience related to programme coordination, events, or working with youth/stakeholders

- Mon - Fri, 8am - 4:30pm Some flexibility for earlier or later start & finish times Occasional evening work for events (40 hours per week)
