Commercial Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable Commercial Cleaner to clean and sanitise a range of commercial premises including offices, hospitals, schools, and construction sites, following hygiene and safety standards.

Key duties include: • Clean and sanitise a range of commercial premises, including schools and commercial buildings, in accordance with hygiene and safety standards. • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and floor buffers. • Remove rubbish and waste materials and dispose of them appropriately. • Dust, polish, and disinfect furniture, fixtures, and surfaces. • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety. • Clean internal windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces. • Maintain and safely store cleaning equipment and supplies. • Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and report shortages when required. • Identify and report any maintenance issues noticed while carrying out cleaning duties. • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and guidelines at all times. • Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety data sheets. • Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned cleaning schedules on time.

Requirements: • Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual and repetitive cleaning tasks. • Minimum 1 year or more work experience required or Level 3 or higher qualification in any field to demonstrate the ability to understand chemical usage, follow health and safety standards, and comply with workplace procedures. • Training in chemical handling and manual handling is preferred. • Shifts are afternoon / evening work. • Work is primarily in indoor commercial environments. • Role involves standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive physical tasks. • Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene • Full license and own vehicle
