Dog Groomer & Front of House

Phillipstown: We’re looking for a confident, calm and experienced Dog Groomer to join the team, combining hands-on grooming with exceptional customer service to fulfil front of house responsibilities. This role involves delivering high-quality, fear-free grooming across all breeds and sizes, from nail trims and bath and tidy through to full grooms, while also supporting the day-to-day running of reception.

You’ll be responsible for: - opening and closing the store, - managing bookings, - taking payments, - answering phone and email enquiries, and - safely checking dogs in and out of daycare.

We’re looking for someone who understands dog behaviour, works with a gentle, low-stress handling approach, and can provide a professional, friendly experience for both dogs and their owners.

This is not an entry level job. This is a busy role with multiple responsibilities. This role is permanent 30 hours per week with the potential to grow grooming clientele and cover shifts to increase up to 40 hours per week.

Applicants must: - Be able to work independently and in a team - Be able to multitask - Be reliable and honest - Have exceptional work ethic - Have proven Dog grooming and customer service experience - Have industry relevant references - Have cash handling experience - Be calm and confident around dogs of all breeds and sizes - Have a strong knowledge of dog body language - Able to pass drug test and MoJ checks
