This Hawera business is a leading New Zealand-based mechanical and electrical contractor. They are looking for a Trades Assistant. The purpose of this role is to effectively contribute to the smooth running of operations by providing an efficient and timely trades support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the organisation.
Duties include: General Assistance – Performing general trade and preparation tasks, as directed by their supervisor.
Quality Assurance and Quality Control – Quality work is delivered in accordance with agreed plans; reviews of work are undertaken to ensure expectations are consistently met. Outputs are superior solutions for our clients.

Job Requirements
Sound communication skills. Understanding of workshop environments and procedures. Full Class 1 Licence. Must pass drug test. Must pass Ministry of Justice check. EWP, Harness and Working at height experience or previous certificates held would be highly advantageous.
