EHL Auckland is looking for a hands-on Hydraulic Specialist to join our growing team. This is a varied role combining hydraulic repair, field work, oil conditioning, and operational support, working across both workshop and on-site jobs.
What You’ll Be Doing • Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems • Carry out oil conditioning, filtration, and contamination control • Assist with installations and commissioning • Manage hydraulic parts, hoses, fittings, and stock • Maintain Health & Safety on jobs • Liaise with suppliers and customers • Support quoting, invoicing, and job tracking
About Us EHL Auckland is a small but growing hydraulic services business specialising in repair, maintenance, and oil conditioning. You’ll work closely with the owner in a tight-knit team where everyone mucks in, with future potential to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
About You • Hands-on and practical with strong problem-solving skills • Proactive and comfortable working independently • Adaptable and happy working in a small team environment • Confident communicating with customers and suppliers • Motivated to help improve systems and support business growth
Job Requirements
• Must have strong hydraulic or mechanical experience • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused • Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements • Comfortable using systems such as MS Office, job tracking, and inventory tools • Enjoys variety and taking ownership of work • Strong communication skills with customers and suppliers • Full NZ Driver Licence required • Updated CV highlighting relevant experience required

- Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (40 hours per week)
