Supply Chain Coordinator

We’re looking for a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to keep operations running smoothly by sourcing, ordering, and managing parts and equipment for the team.

Key Duties • Procure and order parts, materials, and consumables • Receive deliveries and check goods against orders • Distribute parts and equipment to staff and sites • Manage emails, supplier communication, and urgent product requests • Source suppliers and obtain quotes • Use internal systems to place and track orders • Collect parts from local suppliers using a company vehicle • Load, unload, and organise stock and storage areas • Operate a forklift and maintain stock levels • Work closely with operations to meet equipment needs

About the Team You’ll work independently from a dedicated office in the yard, with daily check-ins from the manager via Teams. The team stays connected with regular catch-ups—including a weekly team quiz.

About You • Organised and able to work independently • Quick thinker with strong communication skills • Comfortable liaising with staff, suppliers, and contractors • Someone with a good sense of humour who enjoys being part of a supportive team.

• 5+ years’ experience working with mechanical or engineering products • Experience in procurement or parts purchasing • Proven ability to source quotes and liaise with suppliers • Experience with stock control and inventory management • Familiarity with ordering or inventory systems • Full NZ Driver Licence and a Forklift Licence • Strong computer skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Highly organised and able to work independently • Updated CV highlighting relevant experience required
