Store Manager
About this job
Oversee cash handling, banking procedures and ensure all transactions are processed accurately. Assist the employer/ manager in ensuring the store complies with all local health and safety regulations, including food safety, workplace safety, and environmental laws. Support with opening and closing procedures, including securing the premises, and handling daily cash. Ensure that the store consistently delivers exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns. Assist with implementing in-store promotions to attract and retain customers. Assist in creating work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours. Support the employer/manager in training new staff, developing their skills, ensuring they are knowledgeable about product offerings, customer service standards. Help maintain accurate records of employee hours, product sales, and financial transactions. Provide input and solutions for operational challenges, assist with decision-making
Job Requirements
Must have one year or more of NZ work experience in a similar or higher role and/or industry. Must be available to work in rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays. Willingness to work in early morning, afternoon, and late evening shifts. Passionate about the food industry to look after our takeaway side of the business Work independently in the absence employer/ manager. Great work ethic and willingness to learn and grow Have great communication skills. Reliable and enthusiastic. Attention to detail An eye for detail.
