We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Plasterboard Installer to join our growing team, working on commercial projects across the Waikato region. This is a hands-on, site based role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, understands site safety, and works well as part of a wider construction team.
As a Plasterboard Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of plasterboard systems on commercial construction sites. You will work closely with supervisors, other installers, and downstream trades to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities Install plasterboard to walls, ceilings, and specialised systems Measure, cut, and fix plasterboard accurately to framing Ensure fixings meet quality and site specification standards Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of workmanship Follow site safety procedures and company policies at all times Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades Maintain tools and keep work areas tidy and safe
Job Requirements
Minimum Restricted Driver Licence Own reliable vehicle to travel to job sites Physically fit, healthy, and capable of full-time site work Legal right to work in New Zealand Criminal Convictions considered on a case by case basis
