Employer is looking for someone who can begin in our labour division and whom we can support in upgrading from a Class 1 licence to a full Class 2.
Job Overview Responsible for the daily unloading of plasterboard from the trucks and placing the materials inside the building. You will be responsible for all work gear, truck equipment, and ensuring the truck is returned in good order. The construction site must be left tidy upon completion.
Responsibilities and Duties • Prepare the truck and secure loads before dispatching from the depot. • Mark up orders for each delivery and work from delivery sheets for plasterboard distribution. • Deliver plasterboard according to customer instructions. • Tidy up the site and collect all truck equipment for return. • Stack pallets for collection. • Complete a worksheet for each delivery. • Report to the team leader at each job. • Drive a company vehicle as required.
Ideal person • Must hold a full driver’s licence class 1, as driving a company vehicle may be required. • Able to do physical work, including heavy lifting.

Full NZ class 1 driver's license Pass a pre-employment drug test Pass Criminal Background check Ability to gain NZ Class 2 drivers license
