Dairy Farm Assistant
About this job
On our big farm in Whataroa, you'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day, shifting cows and feeding, fencing, weed control, calving, calf rearing, shed cleaning and setup, identifying and alerting managers to sick cows, setting fences and other general farm duties. A shared 3-bedroom house is included. Accommodation rental will be deducted from wages.
Job Requirements
Candidates must be; reliable, have initiative, prepared to train and learn and apply themselves to hard work. Ministry of Justice check and Drug testing will apply. No pets or smoking in the accommodation.
