Class 5 Truck Driver (Long Haul)

This is a regular Auckland to Christchurch delivery, driving a 6 car transporter. The job will require overnight and possible weekend work. This is a steady, straightforward operation working with a great team. Duties will include: • Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks. • Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation. • Safely operate Class 5 vehicles to transport goods across NZ. • Adhere to all NZTA transport laws and safety regulations.
Job Requirements
• Full Class 5 NZ truck licence (valid and clean). • Must have car transporting exp • Must pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test. • Strong understanding of NZ transport laws. • Clean criminal record (MOJ check required). • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overnights. • Basic mechanical and emergency procedure knowledge. • Experience with heavy transport preferred. • Good communication skills, punctual and responsible.
