We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Roofing Labourer to join our Christchurch based team. This role involves supporting experienced roofers on residential and commercial projects. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in the roofing industry.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems • Carry, load, and unload roofing materials, tools, and equipment safely • Prepare and clean up worksites, including setting up ladders and basic safety equipment • Remove old or damaged roofing materials and dispose of waste appropriately • Support roofers with measuring, cutting, and fitting materials as directed • Use hand and power tools safely and correctly • Follow all health and safety procedures, including working safely at heights • Keep the worksite clean, organised, and free from hazards
Job Requirements
6 months experience in a labouring type position Physically fit and able to consistently lift 20kgs Restricted/Full license and personal transport Ability to pass MOJ check and a Pre-Employment drug test
Preferred requirements: Experience operating power and hand tools Ability to drive manual
