We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Flooring Sales Consultant to join our team in Waipapa. This is a dynamic role combining sales, administration, and project coordination, working closely with customers to deliver high-quality flooring solutions from consultation through to installation.

You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer journey, from initial enquiry and quoting through to final installation and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities: - Conduct in-store and on-site customer consultations, providing expert flooring and design advice - Complete accurate site measurements and quantify plans using RFMS Measure (training provided) - Prepare quotes, invoices, and job documentation accurately and in a timely manner - Follow up on quotes and convert leads into confirmed sales - Coordinate all aspects of flooring jobs, including installation planning and communication - Manage customer expectations throughout the sales and installation process - Ensure stock is ordered and available for upcoming projects - Maintain professional and visually appealing showroom displays - Provide exceptional customer service, including post-sale follow-up - Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, installers, and team members.

What Success Looks Like in This Role: - High conversion of quotes into sales - Accurate and timely administration (quotes, invoicing, job tracking) - Smooth coordination of installations with minimal issues - Strong customer satisfaction and repeat business - Professional and reliable representation of the business

Job Requirements

- Minimum NCEA (high school qualification) - At least 1 year of sales experience - At least 1 year of administration experience, including: Invoicing Quoting Customer service support - Full Class 1 driver licence - Strong numeracy and attention to detail (for measuring, quoting, and pricing) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

Highly Desirable (Advantageous): - Experience in flooring, interiors, or home improvement - Background in a trade environment or transferable industry (e.g., building, construction, hardware retail) - Confidence using measurement tools and systems (training provided) - Demonstrated ability to close sales and build customer relationships.

$65,000 - $70,000 (To start and dependent on experience)
