Bar /Operations Manager - Raglan
We have an awesome Head Chef and a fantastic Office Manager — now we’re looking for an awesome Bar Manager to complete our management team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys hospitality, people, and running a busy bar in a community-focused club environment.
About the Role As Bar Manager you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar and front-of-house areas while supporting a strong team culture and excellent customer service.
Working closely with the Head Chef, Office Manager and Duty Managers, you’ll ensure the club runs smoothly and remains a welcoming place for members and visitors.
Key responsibilities include: Leading and supporting bar and front-of-house staff Rostering, staff training and team development Ensuring excellent service for members and guests Monitoring beverage stock levels and ordering supplies Supervising bar operations during shifts Supporting club promotions, events and functions Ensuring compliance with licensing and club policies Using POS systems and other technology to support operations
About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience in bar or hospitality management Is a confident leader who enjoys developing a team Has strong organisation and communication skills Is comfortable using POS systems and basic office software Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Duty Manager’s Certificate Enjoys working in a community-focused club environment Is reliable, practical and happy to be hands-on

Has experience in bar or hospitality management, minimum 3 years leading people Is a confident leader who enjoys developing a team Has strong organisation and communication skills Is comfortable using POS systems and basic office software Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Duty Manager’s Certificate Enjoys working in a community-focused club environment Is reliable, practical and happy to be hands-on
