This East Tamaki based company is looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join their team as Steel Fixers. The purpose of this role is to prepare and install reinforcing steel based on customer specifications, detail sheets, and drawings. You will focus on accuracy, productivity, and high-quality workmanship, while maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety.
What you’ll be doing: *Measuring, cutting, bending, and placing reinforcing steel *Reading and working from construction drawings and plans *Working efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment *Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite *Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines
Job Requirements
*Previous steel fixing or similar construction experience *Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments *Proven ability to read and understand construction drawings and detailing plans *Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality *Reliable, physically fit, and a team player *Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Days of work
- M-F 7.30am - 5pm Some weekend work (40 hours per week)

- $28-$31 Per hour
