Harvest Tractor Driver

A local Matakana Mandarin orchard is looking for tractor drivers to assist us during the harvest. Tractor Driver required for the pickers to put the fruit in driving up and down the rows. Experience preferred but for the right person employer can provide training. Start date: (approximately) 28th April. This will be confirmed closer to the time. End date: (approximately) end of June Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday - Saturday (not every Saturday is worked, but it is more common than not)
Job Requirements
RELIABLE - this is paramount. The harvest support team is quite small so if one of the team fails to turn up it can put a lot of pressure on the rest. All candidates must have reliable transport to get to work and preferably a Full Class 1 license. Applicants must be: a team player, able to understand and follow instructions, some tractor driving experience would always be useful. We harvest during the winter so the weather isn't always warm, dry and sunny! Must be able to pass a police check and a drug test.
