Chicken Process Worker

We are currently recruiting for staff to join our Chicken Processing team based in Henderson. At Tegel, we're feeding families well every day. We're more than just a food company; we're a team that brings people together.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Performing hands-on, repetitive processing and inspection of raw chicken to meet quality standards • Working on your feet for the full shift in a fast-paced production line environment • Tasks may include trimming, cutting, grading, packing, and weighing product • Operating equipment and machinery, and handling product safely and efficiently • Working in a chilled environment while following strict food safety and hygiene standards • Identifying and reporting safety risks to help maintain a safe workplace

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing, or other physically demanding roles is required • Forklift experience • Previous experience with butchery or knife skills • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and able to follow instructions • Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for the full shift • Comfortable working in a cold environment and completing repetitive tasks • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and focus • Flexible with working hours, including overtime, public holidays, and occasional Saturdays
