Tree Planter
About this job
A local contractor is looking for hard-working Tree Planters to join their crew for the upcoming planting season. This is a hands-on, outdoor role working in forestry blocks across Southland. You’ll be part of a team responsible for planting seedlings efficiently and to a high standard. What You’ll Be Doing -Planting tree seedlings in forestry blocks -Working outdoors in varying terrain and weather -Following planting specifications and spacing guidelines -Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Job Requirements
-Physically fit and able to handle repetitive manual work -Reliable and able to turn up every day -Positive attitude and willingness to learn -Able to work in all weather conditions -Transport to get to meeting points (preferred) -Experience in forestry is a bonus, but not essential - training can be provided for the right person.
