Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for placement at one of our client’s sites in Rolleston. Location & Hours: Rolleston Site: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (possible extensions depending on demand) Weekend shifts available Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate forklift to move and stack pallets Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team Hand stacking carton of 25kg into the containers The role requires to learn how to stage, check and load export product using the forklifts and the attachments Use of IT system to scan and load export containers Skills & Experience Prior experience in forklift operations is essential Able to manually lift and stack up to 25kg Candidate with food manufacturing/logistics background is essential Physically fit with the ability to lift to weights on a regular basis Current forklift license Benefits Long term opportunity available with chance of temp to perm conversion.
