Support Worker - Dargaville

We’re on the lookout for empathetic, passionate, and motivated Support Worker to join our Community team in Dargaville As a Support Worker, you’ll help clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support. Tasks may include: • Meal preparation • Community outings and integration • Medication support • Personal care (showering, toileting, etc.) • Home management tasks What You’ll Get:

• Have an updated CV with at least 2 contactable referees • A level 2 or above certificate in Health and Wellbeing - we can assist with a level 2 if you don't already have one. • Sound communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to pass a Ministry of justice check • Computer literacy and ability to use Apps • Ability to work competently with challenging behaviours • Well organised, with the ability to problem solve effectively and respond effectively under pressure • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team • Hold a current drivers licence (a full licence is required for many services) and own vehicle
