About this job
We are seeking a very efficient Cook who is experienced in Chinese cuisine and also skilled in popular Kiwi favourites such as fish and chips, potato fritters, squid rings, hot dog on a stick, mussel fritters, and burgers. The role also involves the preparation of noodles, chow mein, stir-fries and other Chinese dishes.
This position is ideal for someone who is confident cooking with a wok and has previous experience working in fast food takeaways.
The role is based in the popular suburb of St Heliers on Tamaki Drive. The employer places high importance on punctuality, so please consider your travel time before applying.

Experienced cook specializing in Chinese cuisine
Knowledgeable in popular Kiwi favourites
Organised and efficient
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check
Must hold a restricted or full Class 1 driver’s licence with reliable transport

- You will be working rostered shifts across 7 days. The takeaway opens at 11:30am, closes at 9:00pm (2:30pm on Tuesdays) (30 hours per week)
