Senior Waiter

A high-profile restaurant located in the CBD is seeking an experienced and professional Senior Waiter to join their team.

Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality, consistent service to all guests. • Provide full table service from arrival through to departure. • Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable section of the restaurant. • Confidently take orders and explain menu items, including wines and spirits. • Process payments accurately and efficiently. • Manage a section of at least 8 tables while ensuring excellent guest experience. • Train, support, and monitor junior staff members. • Handle telephone enquiries, including reservations and customer questions. • Assist with opening and closing duties of the restaurant. • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

- Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar establishment or previous experience in a senior waitstaff role. - Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverages. - Strong understanding of high-end service standards and customer expectations - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members. - Experience working in a bar is preferred, but not essential. - Must pass MOJ and drug test. - Must be able to get to and from work in the CBD. - Weekend and evening work is essential. - Must provide an up-to-date CV.
