Compressor Field Service Technician

A Penrose based family-owned business in the compressor industry is looking for a Compressor Field Service Technician to join their team. This company primarily deals with screw air compressors and air treatment systems.
As a Compressor Field Service Technician, you will be providing best in class service and customer support during field visits or workshop-based maintenance activities. you will manage all aspects of on-site service, repair, and preventative maintenance, to ensure that customer equipment operates from "one service to the next" without fault. You will also be travelling from worksite to worksite in a work vehicle to service air compressors and air treatment systems.
If you have experience as a car, truck, or heavy equipment mechanic; a mechanical fitter; or similar trade qualified person with experience using hand tools, we would like to hear from you.
Job Requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills - Training in air compressors is provided but candidates must be trade/tertiary qualified in a mechanical-based field or industry - A Full, unrestricted NZ driver’s license to drive work vehicle - Available for intra-region service work, which may require overnight stays - Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have clean MOJ record. - Please apply with an updated CV

- Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm (40 hours per week)

- From $30 an hour. May be negotiable depending on experience.
