Duty Manager Liquor

A Western Bay of Plenty Liquor store is seeking a full time Duty Manager who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining safety standards, and managing staff to deliver a seamless experience for guests or clients. This role acts as the point of contact during their shift, handling any issues that arise and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth functioning. Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Lead, motivate, and manage team members to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards. Monitor health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Manage bookings, reservations, and scheduling to optimize resources. Handle cash, billing, and administrative tasks accurately. Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Report to senior management on operational issues, incidents, and staff performance.

-Current Duty Manager certificate or Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality, retail, or service industry. -Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. -Own transport, and driver license -No criminal conviction, Drug free -Knowledge of health and safety regulations. -Basic financial literacy for handling transactions. -Proficiency in relevant management software or POS systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
