Night Shift Hospital Orderly – Security
About this job
As an Orderly in Security you will support patient care by safely moving patients and items around the hospital at the right time, to the right place, in a courteous, professional and well-presented manner, contributing to the effective day-to-day operation of Orderly Services at Nelson Hospital.
You will be physically fit and an excellent communicator who is passionate about delivering a quality service. You will be efficient and able to manage your time effectively. Due to the nature of the work you must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. It is essential that you are physically fit and active with knowledge of heavy lifting techniques. Hotel / Porter / Orderly or Security worker experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

It is essential that you are physically fit and active with knowledge of heaving lifting techniques. Hotel / Porter / Orderly or Security worker experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Pass MOJ check and drug test. Able to work across shift work and travel reliably and safely.
Vaccinations: Measles, Mumps, Chickenpox and Rubella up to date. No requirement for covid vaccination.
