Store Assistant

Auckland CBD store is looking for a Store Assistant to join their team.

This job is a store assistant role in a high-paced food preparation role, who can provide vital operational support to the Store Manager and service team to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Duties could include but are not limited to: • Greeting customers and taking orders • Answering questions and assisting with menu choices • Preparing sandwiches, wraps, and salads to standard • Adding toppings, sauces, and toasting items as requested • Supporting staff in delivering efficient, high-quality customer service • Ensuring a positive and customer-focused dining experience • Operating the POS/cash register • Processing payments and providing correct change • Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas • Monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies • Following food safety and hygiene procedures

The successful client will have good retail skills and a strong customer focus, able to manage inventory efficiently and assist with daily admin to support the restaurant's overall growth and profitability. You will be able to help maintain staff schedules and assist in balancing the daily workload. Any previous experience is welcomed. Have reliable transport to get to and from work (please note public transport may not be operating during certain shifts). Good customer service skills. Be able to pass pre-employment drug test and have clean MOJ record.
