Bar Attendant

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Full-Time Duty Manager or Bar Attendant to join a busy hospitality venue in Waitara. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team, and ensuring customers receive excellent service.
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue, supervising staff, and ensuring the premises operates safely and in full compliance with New Zealand licensing laws.
Requirements • Have LCQ (Licence Controller Qualification) or able to obtain • Duty Manager Certificate would be beneficial • Must be available to work weekends and evenings
Key Responsibilities • Supervise the daily operation of the bar and venue • Ensure compliance with the New Zealand Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act • Monitor the responsible service of alcohol and customer behaviour • Manage and support staff during shifts • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues that arise • Ensure the safety of customers and staff on the premises • Carry out opening and closing procedures • Ensure all licensing conditions are followed at all times

Job Requirements
