Asphalt and Chipseal Foreman

You’ll oversee the daily operations of one of our asphalt and chipseal crews, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on site. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide your team, plan work schedules, and maintain high standards across all aspects of paving and chipseal operations.

Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily operations of an asphalt paving crew, including safety, quality control, and personnel management. • Coordinate and schedule work in conjunction with our Operations Team. • Provide strong on-site leadership, ensuring effective communication and team performance. • Manage field operations and oversee subcontractors as required. • Lead safety initiatives including toolbox meetings, accident investigations, and corrective action plans. • Enforce company, safety, and environmental policies at all times. • Mentor and develop crew members to help them reach their full potential. • Be available for out-of-town or occasional weekend work when required.

• Relevant driver’s licence: Class 4, Dangerous Goods/WTR and F are Essential, Class 5 would be preferred. • Proven experience in asphalt and/or chipseal operations. • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Reliable work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Commitment to health and safety on every job. • Ability to motivate, support, and uplift your team. • Clean driver’s licence. • Pre-employment checks will be required (MoJ and drug test)
