seeking a reliable and experienced Class 4 Truck Driver to join our team in South Auckland. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods while ensuring vehicles are operated and maintained according to safety and compliance standards.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring freight is delivered safely, securely, and on time.
Key Responsibilities - The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading - Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices - Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles - Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely - Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight - Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage - Verifying loading documents and checking the condition of goods - Obtaining certification and signatures for completed deliveries

Job Requirements
- Valid New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence - Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations - Ability to handle physical work including loading and unloading - Strong attention to detail when checking documentation and goods - Good communication and time management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Expected Attendance (Days and Time of Work)
Days: Monday to Sunday on a rostered schedule (approximately 90% of shifts are Monday to Friday, with occasional rostered weekend shifts)
Hours: 4:00 AM – 3:00 PM (finish time may vary depending on traffic conditions)

- Monday - Sunday Rostered (90% of shifts will be from Mon-Fri with rostered weekends) 4am - 3pm (pending traffic) (30 hours per week)
