We are seeking Support Workers in the Whangarei & Kaitaia areas. Positions are available from Casual to Permanent shifts, depending on your skills and availability. Flexibility is required to cover day, night, and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Providing personalised support to individuals in their own home in accordance with care plans and preferences.
Duties vary depending on our client's individual needs, some of the tasks are likely to include assisting with personal cares, meal preparation, medication administration and household tasks.
Promoting independence and social inclusion by facilitating community outings, recreational activities and social interactions.
Building positive relationships with clients, families and other stakeholders to ensure a supportive and collaborative environment.
Documenting client progress, observations, incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
Minimum of 12 months of relevant work experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy, patience and a non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hold a full, clean Driver Licence and have access to a reliable car
Be clear spoken
Willingness to undergo relevant training and development
What we Offer
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $24.20 per hour up to $30.13 per hour depending on relevant qualifications, and paid travel. Sleepover shift is paid at $23.95 per hour.

Job Requirements
Must have at least 12 months work experience in this field. Have to have a full Drivers Licence and access to a car. Must be able to pass MOJ Must be able to pass Drug test
