A busy and well-established automotive workshop in West Auckland is seeking an experienced Wheel Alignment Technician / Tyre Technician to join our team. This is a casual position, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
You will work on a wide range of vehicles including cars, SUVs and utes, delivering high-quality wheel alignment and tyre services while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and correct wheel alignment issues to manufacturer standards • Fit, balance, tyres, including puncture repairs • Provide professional, friendly service and advise customers on tyre and alignment needs • Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality • Tyre sales ability would be desirable
Job Requirements
• Proven experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician and/or Tyre Technician (3 years+) • Strong knowledge of wheel alignment and tyre fitting • Ability to operate hydraulic hoists and workshop tools safely • Experience working with a wide range of vehicles (cars, SUVs, , utes) • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently • Physically fit and capable of handling manual workshop tasks • Full class 1 driver licence
- Days of work
- Mon to Friday 7.30am to 5pm Sat 7.30am to 12pm - Casual hours (20 hours per week)

- $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience
