Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook a range of high quality menu items • Maintain food safety, kitchen hygiene, and cleaning standards • Receive, store, rotate, and manage stock and supplies • Support menu development to meet dietary and cultural needs • Apply catering control principles for consistency and cost management • Coach and support kitchen team members to perform at a high standard
Job Requirements
• NZQA Level 4 Cookery qualification (or equivalent trade certificate) • Must have at least 2 years of experience • Experience in hospitality, catering, or lounge style kitchens • Strong communication skills; able to work independently and in a team • Reliable, flexible, physically fit, and committed to high standards • NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) and Police Clearance preferred • Ability to pass drug test • Full Class 1 drivers licence required
