Join the national office of New Zealand’s leading and largest provider of food and support services, based in Parnell, Auckland. We are seeking a Payroll Officer experienced in medium to large payrolls and confident managing the full end to end cycle. This role suits someone proactive, systems focused, and forward thinking about automation. Key Responsibilities: • Process end to end payroll for 3,800+ employees • Handle daily payroll activities with the wider team • Provide accurate, customer focused payroll advice to operations • Resolve complex payroll queries and support managers • Maintain high data integrity for reporting and analysis • Meet all payroll SLAs and compliance standards • Support system and process improvements

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in NZ payroll • Strong understanding of NZ legislation and payroll compliance • Experience working with multiple unions and complex collective agreements • Comfortable in fast paced, high volume environments • Confident with end to end payroll cycles for medium/large organisations • Excellent communication and customer service skills • High accuracy, attention to detail, and problem solving ability • Experience with PayGlobal or similar payroll systems is an advantage • Proactive, collaborative, and keen to support process automation • Ability to pass police check
