Electrician Assistant

A Company who specialise in electrical installations for new houses being built around Auckland are seeking an Electrical Assistant to join the team.

They are based in West Auckland but the jobs are located all over Auckland. Ideally you will have full licence (or be sitting it soon) and your own reliable vehicle as you will be required to use it to travel to some of the locations.

You will already be part way through an Electrical Apprenticeship but wanting to complete it with this company. If you have a minimum of 12 to 18 months experience and then are wanting to take the next step this could be the role for you. You will be assisting the Electrician in the set up of service panels, install the wires that lead to every outlet throughout the house, installing indoor & outdoor lighting, audiovisual & smart home automation, internet connection & networking, EV charging points, security systems and home theatre systems. Must hold a full Class 1 driver's licence with reliable transport - Have at least 12 months previous Work experience (after any training completed) in Electrical Installing, as detailed above. 2- That experience is to be detailed on your CV 3- Have at least a Restricted Driver licence. 4- Have your OWN car to drive to the worksites 5- be willing to commit to formal study 6- Be drug free in order to pass random testing.
