About this job
As a Kitchen Hand you are to support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen through food preparation, dishwashing, and assisting on the grill.
Key accountabilities: • Assisting the cook in the preparation and cooking of food, as required • Washing and cleaning utensils and dishes • Cleaning benches, floors, and other kitchen areas • Disposing of rubbish • Ensuring the kitchen is clean and sanitary • Handling, sorting, and distributing food items
* Benefits include a meal when on shift and a uniform (T-shirts, a cap, and an apron)
Locations may vary from CBD, Blenheim Road area.
Job Requirements
* Be available to start ASAP * Need to pass an MOJ check * Need at least 6 months experience * Must be physically fit and able to work in a warm kitchen environment * Must be available over the Christmas and New Year period (no exceptions)
