Logistics/Events Team Leader

This would suit a logistics professional with a strong background in hospitality to support and oversee operations, ensuring seamless coordination and an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities • Provide operational and administrative support to the Events Coordinator, including on-site cover when required. • Maintain facilities documentation, preventative maintenance schedules, and asset registers. • Monitor and follow up on maintenance and health & safety requirements. • Support facilities-related projects as needed. • Manage the vehicle pool, including maintenance coordination, spot checks, and bookings. • Maintain accurate fleet and facilities records. • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. • Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse teams to manage schedules and resolve issues. • Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock control processes. • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and customs documentation. • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures. • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient logistics operations.
Job Requirements
- 6 months relevant experience - Procurement and supply chain experience - Be flexible with hours based on shipment schedules - An up to date CV - Be able to pass drug testing and an MOJ check - Proficient with technology systems, including the range of Microsoft Office/ Google products and associated facilities products. - Ideally, a familiarity and understanding of the Health and Safety of Work Act 2015. - Must be able to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
