Senior Department Manager

As a Senior Department Manager, you are responsible for the operational, people, and performance outcomes of your department. You will deliver outstanding shift leadership and play a key role in driving restaurant wide results. • Deliver smooth, efficient shift execution with a strong focus on speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. • Uphold outstanding Quality, Service, Cleanliness & Value (QSC&V) every day • Lead your department to meet operational, sales, and service targets • Support quarterly sales plans, local marketing initiatives, and community engagement • Maintain responsibility for shift outcomes, demonstrating strong understanding of labour, inventory, cash flow, and overall profitability • Lead and coach crew and shift leaders to achieve strong performance and development • Train and develop crew and managers to build capability and ensure department readiness • Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management processes.

To be considered, applicants must have: • Qualified Department Manager • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a senior leadership role • Demonstrated success in a McDonald’s business environment • Contactable referees — applications stating “referees available on request” will not be considered • Approval from your Franchisee/Operations manager if you are a current McDonald’s employee Tertiary education and McDonald’s Technology Operations training are advantageous.
